$5 Fruit Succulents Will Add The Cutest Pop Of Color To Your Home

If you’re not so great at keeping plants alive, but you still want to brighten up your space with some greenery, artificial succulents are the perfect alternative to real plants. They look so much like the real thing that, sometimes, people can hardly tell them apart! One woman even watered an artificial succulent for two years before realizing that it was fake.

If you do choose to go the artificial route, Target is now selling a new line of succulents that will add a serious pop of color and cuteness to your home. The pots come in two fruit varieties: pineapple and strawberry.

Target

The pineapple version features a round yellow base and green spiky succulent leaves — basically, it looks like a succulent and a pineapple at the same time. Similarly, the strawberry version has a bright red base and squat little leaves, just like a real strawberry. Pop one or both on your nightstand and your bedroom will officially be ready for summer. At under 4 inches tall, each succulent is tiny enough to fit in any space.

There are also two non-fruit options that are equally fun and cute. One is a white shark, with succulent leaves coming out of its mouth. Lastly, there’s a panda wearing scuba gear, because why not?

Target

Each individual succulent costs just $5 at Target, and they’re available for delivery. Since these plants are artificial, there’s no watering required, and you can place them anywhere in your house without worrying about sunlight.

If you don’t want to give up on real live succulents just yet despite your lack of a green thumb, there’s also another solution: a robot that does all the work for you. An innovative robot called Hexa will transport a succulent around your home, making sure it gets the proper amount of sunlight and shade. Hexa even alerts you when the succulent needs some water!

These days, you don’t have to be a skilled gardener to add some green to your abode. There’s no shame in getting a little help or using an artificial plant, and the results can be positively adorable.
