Batwoman’s Ruby Rose dyed her buzzcut not one, but two bold new colors in quarantine
Ruby Rose has been the definition of #hairgoals since her breakout role in Orange is the New Black in 2015. She’s never afraid of trying out a bold new haircut or a bright new hair color. But her latest hair switch-up might be her boldest yet. She just debuted not one but two new hair colors, which she showed off in a series of selfies on Instagram.
The Batwoman star is perhaps best known for her short brunette cut. But it seems the time spent at home due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic had her itching to try a totally new look—fully reflecting her quarantine moods. Not only did she show off a new buzz cut, she dyed her hair half blue and half pink. Of course, it looks beyond fierce.
In the caption on her post, which she shared on Friday, May 1st, Rose shared a little bit about the inspiration behind her two-toned look.
Rose wrote, “What can I say!? Sometimes you just need to feel blue and other times you need pink to lighten your day.”
We fully understand the sentiment, and it encapsulates how we feel during these uncertain times. So we’re truly inspired by her new pink and blue style.
She also shared the sweetest selfies with her dog, Ru, calling the rescue pup her “baby angel.”
Rose also shared a couple of poolside selfies, giving a glimpse of her vibrant new colors as she enjoyed a little rest and relaxation in the sun. It certainly seems like she’s living her very best life during quarantine, and while we definitely have some FOMO, we’re here for any and all hair inspo she serves up and shares on social media with us.
If her new pink and blue buzzcut has you inspired to try a dual hair color of your own, there’s no better time than now to experiment.
