Following the death of 87-year-old Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday, large crowds gathered at the United States Supreme Court Building in Washington D.C. to mourn the loss of the revered women’s rights advocate.
Many in attendance left flowers, lit candles, and even gathered in song to pay their respects to the late-high court official through the night.

Amid those gathered, far-right conspiracists Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman reportedly crashed the vigil, publicly sharing their stance on the passing of Ginsburg and its implications on the future of the nation’s highest court.
In a video captured during the incident, Wohl is heard telling those around him that “Roe v. Wade is dead,” referencing the milestone 1973 court case that established women’s constitutional right to abortion. He also exclaims that “Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a horrible justice.” Soon after, Wohl’s surrounding counterparts begin an overpowering RBG chant in response, drowning out grifter.
Sources on the ground stated that the conspiracy theorists made an exit from the organized gathering shortly after, and the event returned to a peaceful manner.

Wohl was previously banned from Twitter in February 2019 after publicly sharing plans to interfere with the 2020 Democratic presidential primary via disinformation campaigns. Additionally, the far-right troll has been expelled from both Instagram and Facebook, as recently as last month, due to alleged violation of community guidelines in “partaking in inauthentic behavior” on both platforms.
Similarly, Burkman’s Twitter account was suspended in March after repeatedly violating community guidelines, including the spread of misinformation regarding the coronavirus. Earlier this week, Burkman’s home was allegedly raided by the FBI, although the incident raised skepticism on whether the raid was staged for ulterior political motives.
