Joanna Gaines’ No-bake Strawberry Pie Recipe Tastes Like Summer And Is So Easy To Make

Summer is around the corner and it’s time to start whipping up your favorite seasonal treats. Joanna Gaines has a recipe for an amazing no-bake strawberry pie that will instantly transport you to a warm and sunny day, even if it’s still cloudy and gray in your neck of the woods.

Although it looks fancy and tastes divine, this super-summery dessert comes together in just 20 minutes — and then it needs to set in the freezer for about six hours or up to overnight. Throughout much of the country, peak strawberry season arrives in June, so if you’re having trouble tracking down a fresh pint, you could also sub in frozen strawberries.

Because there’s no baking required, it’s perfect for making on a hot day when you don’t even want to think about turning on the oven. All that’s needed is some sweetened condensed milk, heavy cream, powdered milk, strawberries, lemon juice, vanilla extract and a graham cracker crust.

In celebration, the “Fixer Upper” star has been sharing tutorials for some of her recipes on YouTube.

On March 19, she posted a tutorial for making her chocolate chip cookies, sharing that her family baked them while home together during quarantine:

Although she was set to go on tour for her new book, her plans were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Instead, in a YouTube video entitled “Magnolia Table, Vol. 2 Book Tour (at home edition),” the Gaines family celebrated the launch in their own “unique, stir-crazy kind of way.”

Aww! Since Gaines was not able to greet fans across the country, her kids and husband subbed in as her customers coming to get their books signed, complete with kooky costumes and some impressive acting skills. They sure know how to make some lemonade out of lemons!

Speaking of lemonade, if you need a tasty seasonal beverage to wash down your strawberry pie, Gaines also has some great recipes for infused summer lemonades. Blackberries, watermelon, peach and more are all great flavors to accent this classic summer thirst-quencher.
