It was a very Happy Valentine’s Day for this couple! Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom got engaged on the holiday for lovers and shared the news on social media.
Perry and Bloom both shared the same image to their Instagram accounts, but with slightly different captions.
Perry wrote, “full bloom” alongside a photo of her, Bloom and a huge ring, with red heart balloons filling the background.
Meanwhile, Bloom’s caption did a better job of confirming the engagement news. He wrote, “Lifetimes” to accompany the image.
In other words, these two are in it for life! How cute!

The two first got together back in 2016, but the couple split up in March 2017 and released a joint statement.”Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” the joint statement reportedly said.
But, by August 2017, the dating rumors were in full swing again, and a source confirmed that the pair were indeed an item once again in April 2018.
“Orlando and Katy are great. They are dating exclusively again and things seem more serious,” a source told People. “They are both excited about it and don’t want to hide, but at the same time they are trying to keep privacy as well.”
Perry dropped a clue that she and Bloom were together when she said she was “spoken for” and “very happy” while speaking to Entertainment Tonight the same month.
Both Perry and Bloom have previously been married. Perry was married to Russell Brand, and Bloom was previously wed to Miranda Kerr.
But based on these recent Instagram photos, it seems as though this couple is more than prepared to commit to one another for good.
Of course, this is good news for fans of the couple. For one thing, it means more stylish red carpet appearances together. Nobody dresses to the nines better than these two.
And fans can also expect even more of those sweet social media posts dedicated to each other. In January, Perry wished her beau a happy birthday.
“Happiest 42nd birthday to the kindest and cutest man I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with,” she wrote.
