Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian have been criticized for meeting with a Ugandan dictator who has made homosexuality illegal.
Kim Kardashian and her husband visited the Uganda dictator who has prohibited homosexuality in his country.
The famous couple has been slammed in social media for meeting with the Ugandan president – Yoweri Museveni, for his treatment of gay people who have been constantly persecuted and arrested in Uganda.
They flew to Uganda along with their daughter North, as a part of their vacation, visiting some of the country’s national parks.
Later on, they met with the Ugandan president and his daughter Diana in the State House in Entebbe where they presented him with a pair of Yeezy sneakers.
As the president revealed on his twitter page they were discussing the country’s tourism and promotion and Yoweri thanked the rapper for his present.
After seeing this, Twitter users slammed Kanye for ‘siding and promoting oppressors such as Trump and now the dictator Museveni’ – one woman is saying.
Jobe Sithole posted on Twitter: ‘What is thug Yoweri Museveni of Uganda doing with Kanye West? I just saw pics of the two men.’
