Smith expressed her gratitude following the announcement on her own Instagram Story, writing, “Thank you for all your love and support angels. Our hearts are exploding with love and happiness! This is going to be the most beautiful, exciting journey of our lives.”

“Thank you for being a part of this! I’m not sure what I did to deserve such a wonderful husband and now a beautiful angel. I’m only five weeks along, but be ready for baby overload on here!” she added.

The pair’s baby news comes two months after Lil Xan checked out of rehabfor a drug addiction, after checking himself in two weeks prior. “Out and Sober,” he tweeted on Dec. 16, along with a broken-heart emoji and an emoji of praying hands.

The “Betrayed” hitmaker, whose real name is Diego Leanos, was inspired to try to get sober after the September death of his friend Mac Miller, who died of an accidental drug overdose.

The baby on the way is the first for Smith and Lil Xan, who had a contentious split from girlfriend Noah Cyrus in September after months of dating.

Lil Xan and Smith have fueled speculation of an engagement on social media, with the mom-to-be calling the rapper her “husband” in her Sunday Instagram Story.

She also wrote, “I cannot wait to call myself your wife soon” in an Instagram post late last week, and referred to Lil Xan as her “fiancé” in a black-and-white selfie of the couple posted last month.
