Middleton was last seen at Princess Eugenie’s wedding
Pippa Middleton gave birth to her first child with husband James Matthews yesterday, and the new addition to their family is a baby boy.
Middleton’s baby boy was born on October 15. The news was confirmed today by Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, who wrote on Twitter, “George, Charlotte and Louis have a new cousin! James and Pippa Matthews (Middleton) had a baby boy. He was born Monday 15th October at 1.58pm, weighing 8lb and 9oz. Everyone is delighted and Mother and baby are doing well.”
Middleton gave birth in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital. The Wing is famous for decades of royal births. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had all their kids in this wing, and both Prince William and Prince Harry were born here as well.
Speculation of the birth started when the couple were seen arriving at the hospital. Middleton’s husband James Matthews was pictured arriving at the hospital with two large bags yesterday as well. It is unclear whether Kate Middleton and other members of Pippa’s family have visited the new edition to their family.
Middleton was last seen at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on Friday, 12 October. The writer announced her baby in June via her Waitrose column, after speculation grew intense following her appearance at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding. She wrote, “I’ve noticed my body change but through exercise I feel it’s being strengthened.”
Middleton and Matthews married in May last year in Berkshire.
