Reese Witherspoon is returning to her acting roots: romantic comedies. Early in her career, Witherspoon starred in countless rom-coms that went on to become classics—Legally Blonde or Sweet Home Alabama, anyone? But now, the actress is not only starring in films and TV shows, but she’s producing them, too, because girl’s a badass. Luckily for us, we’re getting a double-dose of Reese soon. On May 13th, Netflix announced that Witherspoon signed onto not just one, but two upcoming romantic comedies. We’re fully freaking out.

Netflix announced the exciting news with a Twitter post, writing, “Not just one…but two Reeses.” That sounds like a dream, doesn’t it? The streaming service continued with an explanation: “We’re excited to announce that @ReeseW will produce & star in *two* new Netflix rom-coms: Your Place or Mine from screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada) & producer Jason Bateman, and The Cactus, based on the bestseller.”

The fashion-filled film is only one of our favorite rom-coms ever, and we’re thinking its witty writing will flow into Your Place of Mine. If the title tells us anything, it sounds a little raunchy, which we’re always down for. The Cactus was a Reese’s Book Club pick, which she has been known to adapt into TV or films. (Of course, a major example is Big Little Lies.) The Cactus novel follows a 45-year old single woman who becomes pregnant after unexpectedly losing her mother. It’s a heartwarming and humorous read, so the movie is sure to follow suit.

Since her early days starring in swoon-worthy rom-coms, Witherspoon has delved into more serious roles in both film and TV. She’s been at the forefront of change for women in Hollywood and has pioneered women-driven TV shows, like The Morning Show, Big Little Lies, and Little Fires Everywhere. But now, we’re ready for a Sweet Home Alabama 2.0 (and 3.0). With her behind the camera and in front of it, we’re ready for a new era of Witherspoon rom-coms. Bring them on.
