Madonna Posted A Rare Photo Of All Of Her Kids Together

Wrangling your six kids together for a photograph is easier said than done — even for Madonna, we imagine. But Thanksgiving has a way of bringing families together, and the singer and entertainer somehow managed to pull all six of her kids together for a rare family photo for the holiday. She shared the photo on Instagram, along with a caption detailing just how thankful she is for her family: “What I am Most THANKFUL for! My Children have led me down roads and opened doors I never imagined I’d walk through,” the mom wrote. “Fame, Fortune and Records Broken could never equal that which I treasure and value most.”   View this post on Instagram   What I am Most THANKFUL for! #Celebrities Who Have #Tons Of #Children

Family size is shrinking in many countries — including the U.S. And just like the rest of us, in the celebrity world, it’s a rare thing to see families with more than three or four kids. There are exceptions, of course. And there are plenty of celebs who have increased their kid count through multiple marriages and relationships. But did you know that all of these famous people had this many kids? Bob Dylan Bob Dylan has five children with first wife, Sara Lownds: Jesse, Anna, Samuel and Jakob, and adopted daughter Maria, from Lownds’ previous relationship. Dylan also had a daughter, Desiree, with Carol Dennis, whom he was secretly married to for six years. So it seems that he has six children, but things are complicated with Dylan. He had another common-law wife and a long list of...

#Doctors Issued New #Warnings About #Spanking #Children For The First Time In 20 Years

The American Academy of Pediatrics has hardened its stance against spanking children as a form of parental discipline. In a new policy statement, published in the journal Pediatrics on Monday, the pediatricians association recommends that adults caring for children use “healthy forms of discipline” — such as positive reinforcement of appropriate behaviors, and setting limits and expectations — and not use spanking, hitting, slapping, threatening, insulting, humiliating or shaming. The policy statement updates guidance published in 1998 that recommended: “parents be encouraged and assisted in developing methods other than spanking in response to undesired behavior.” “In the 20 years since that policy was first published, there’s been a great deal of additional research, and we’re...

20 Things On Every Busy Mom’s ‘invisible To-do List’

It’s invisible, but it’s always with me. You can’t see it. My husband and kids certainly can’t see it, but there it is, sitting like a weight on my chest. Sometimes the weight feels like it will crush me, it’s so much — too much. Other times, it’s manageable and I feel kind of proud of myself for that. It’s my “invisible to-do list” — that compilation of all the tasks and information it takes to manage my family and keep things humming along. Moms, you know exactly what I mean, right? There’s the regular to-do list (dishes, laundry, school pick-up, etc.). But then there’s all of the other stuff, those behind-the-scenes tasks that no one notices until they don’t get done. I’ve never met a woman who didn’t have an invisible to-do list and I’ve never met a mom who wasn’t a little...

Would You Send Your Children In An ‘Uber For Kids’?

Would you use these services for your children? When kids reach a certain age, it feels like half of parenting is spent driving them from practice to rehearsals to birthday parties to dentist appointments. But what if you could pay someone to pick up carpool duty for you? It turns out you can. Thanks to services like HopSkipDrive, a kid-friendly, Uber-like rideshare company, your kids have reliable transportation without you spending precious time in the car. HopSkipDrive was started by three moms with eight kids between them. The company provides rides for the under 18-set, who cannot have their own Uber accounts or take an Uber without an adult. Lyft, another rideshare service, also does not provide rides for children under 18. The Los Angeles-based company strives to put pa...

I Stopped Using My Phone Around My Kids For A Week—And Here’s What Happened

I Stopped Using My Phone Around My Kids For A Week—And Here’s What Happened How much screen time is too much? Technology and the role it plays in our kids’ lives is a common topic for parenting blogs and playground chit-chat. How much screen time is too much? When should kids get their own phones? Can I effectively monitor what my kids are seeing? Posting? Texting? We worry about their development, the internet content they are consuming and who they are following on social media. But perhaps the real worry and the better question we should be asking is: How much time do we, the parents, spend on our own devices? And is this adult screen timeimpacting our kids? Research says yes. And, so do my kids. Maybe not so much in their words (they are only 4 and 7), but certainly in the...

These Families Tried To Show Off Their Babies And The Results Are Not What You’d Expect

Most new parents can’t take their eyes off of their baby, and who can blame them? A baby’s smile can be one of the most heartwarming things in the world, so it’s no surprise that people like to set up a little photoshoot of their latest offspring to show off their sweet face! On the other hand, babies aren’t ALWAYS that cute. They fuss, they cry, and they produce very stinky diapers. Therefore they don’t always make the best models, as you can see in these 20 baby picture ideas gone wrong… 1. The photo on the left was probably a great source of inspiration for these parents. After all, who doesn’t love a happy dapper baby boy wearing a bow tie? The result on the right, however, doesn’t have the same effect. 2. One kid seems very relaxed about the idea of getting a younger sibl...

Family Is Thrilled With Just-Adopted Daughter Before She Shares A Wild Detail About Her Past

Adopting a child is one of the most noble decisions a person can make. Not only does it drastically improve the child’s well-being, but it also enriches the family who welcomes them into their home. But like anything else, adoption is not without its dark side. When this all-American family took in a young African girl, they never suspected she had such a complicated past. What she told them next revealed one of the most vile and corrupt schemes you can imagine. When Adam and Jessica Davis first met Namata in 2015, it was like love at first sight. They were so caught up in their idea of the perfect family, that they had no idea something was terribly wrong. Adam and Jessica had been considering adopting a child for quite some time. Like most other prospective parents, they had n...

Toddler Addicted To Smoking Two Packs Of Cigarettes Per Day ‘At Risk Of Brain Damage’

2-year-old Rapi Ananda Pamungkas hit headlines earlier this month, after it was revealed that the boy was smoking two packs of cigarettes per day! Experts have now warned that he could be left with serious brain damage if he doesn’t kick the habit immediately. The shocking video that was shared online showed the little boy puffing away while his parents were just standing there and watching. It caused a massive stir, and the family has since vowed to help Rapi ditch the nasty habit. As we all know, smoking is not good for you, but Associate Professor of Public Health and Community Medicine at the University of New South Wales Colin Mendelsohn has issued a warning about the additional risks associated with smoking cigarettes at such young age. “Animal studies have shown nicotine da...

There Should Be A Law Forbidden These Parents From Having Children

Parenting is not easy, and we have to remember that! Also, it’s pretty hard to judge parents when you aren’t one, because you don’t know what it’s like to be responsible for another human being at all times. It sure sounds like really hard work, but there’s still a line that should not be crossed, and some parents do cross it. It’s then when we are allowed to say: “What the actual f**k is wrong with you? You should not have kids!” So, what is that line? Well, anything that could be considered dangerous, like giving toddlers alcohol or laying them on the floor in public. Yes, there are people who do that, and the following list includes such people. They prove that they shouldn’t have children, and we really hope that these kids are fine and safe. Scroll down to see what we are talking a...
