From Ariana Grande to Stevie Wonder, a slew of entertainers has paid tribute to Aretha Franklin since the Queen of Soul passed away two weeks ago. And now you can add the military band at Buckingham Palace to that list.
As the music icon was laid to rest in Detroit on Friday, Aug. 31, the U.K. military band, the Band of the Welsh Guards, paid tribute to Franklin from across the pond. The stirring performance took place on Friday morning during Buckingham Palace’s famous Changing of the Guard.
