Jenna Fischer talks about her email exchange with Goldie Hawn when she appears on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Tuesday.
The 44-year-old is asked whether or not she’s met her “Splitting Up Together” co-star: “I still haven’t met her, she’s one of my heroes!”
However, Fischer does add: “Last year she was throwing a charity benefit and [Goldie’s son] Oliver asked if he could give his mom my email to invite me and I said ‘Yes!’ and she emailed me.
“It said, ‘Attached please find the invite, Goldie Hawn.'”
Fischer continues, as DeGeneres jokingly pretends to wipe her eyes with a tissue: “I wrote her back and I said ‘I can’t wait, thank you so much.’ Then she wrote me back, ‘Xoxo.'”
