If you’re getting to the point in quarantine where just about everything seems like its the same, we hear you. Because, nowadays, we’re all glued to our phones for more time than usual, why not switch it up by making a TikTok video into a live background for your phone? Yes, Tiktok live wallpapers are a thing, and we’ll break down how you can create one.

So whether it’s a celebrity TikTok dance challenge, Penn Badgley’s uncanny doppelgänger, or maybe a funny throwback challenge from a friend’s account, these short, entertaining videos can get a more permanent spot on your screen. It’s actually pretty easy, too.

Here’s how to create a live wallpaper with a TikTok video:

1. Select the video.

To save a TikTok as your lock screen, you’ll of course first need to navigate to the TikTok app and find the video you want. Make sure the account is public, though, or you won’t be able to save and share it.

2. Save the video as a live photo.

Once you’re on the video you want, tap the “Share” icon on the right-hand side of the video, which is shaped like a curved arrow. When prompted for how you would like to save the video, select “Live Photo” from the second row of options. This is how the video will be converted to a live photo and automatically saved in your photos app.

3. Select the photo from your photo library and set it as your background.

In the final step, there are two ways to set the TikTok video as your wallpaper. You can find it the live photo in your album, tap the box with an arrow icon in the lower left-hand side of the photo, and select “Use as Wallpaper.” Or you can go to your Settings, select “Wallpaper,” and set your new live photo from there.

Enjoy your new animated background!
