You fans found Penn Badgley’s doppelgänger on TikTok, and it’s uncanny

Normally, there’s nothing we love more than a good old celebrity doppelgänger. But fans of Netflix’s You are understandably freaking the heck out over this TikTok user who looks eerily similar to Penn Badgley, and we have chills. One Joe Goldberg is enough, thank you.

TikTok user Rico LeBron has been having fun with You fans, acting as everyone’s favorite creepy fictional character. LeBron has gone viral with his videos performing some of Joe’s monologues dressed in his signature baseball cap and denim button-up, and fans are taking to the comments to (appropriately) freak out.

Seriously, watching him reenact the scene where Joe and Love Quinn (played by Victoria Pedretti) discuss whether a peach looks like a butt (LOL) has us doing a double-take. We think even Badgley himself would be wigged out over the similarities.

In another TikTok video, Lebron spoke directly to the camera, saying, “You are special. You’re talented. You’re passionate. You’re smart. I just need to know who you really are.”

The music has shaken us to the core.

As we not-so-patiently wait for You Season 3 to premiere in 2021, we’re officially petitioning for LeBron to become Badgley’s body double. Per his Instagram page, he’s also an actor, and nothing has ever made more sense than this.

Of course, all jokes aside, we love that he’s having fun playing such a devious doppelgänger. He’s filling the You-sized hole we have in our hearts until we get to see new episodes. So, we are grateful for the content—if a little bit freaked out, too.
