Always wanted to catch Aerosmith in person? Well next year, you’ll know where to find them.
The legendary band, which was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, announced this week that starting in the spring of 2019 it will start a residency at the new Park MGM resort in Las Vegas.
“We decided to do Vegas. Viva Las Aerosmith!” lead singer Steven Tyler said onstage at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City before the group’s performance on NBC’s “Today” show on Aug. 15.

The show will be called “Aerosmith: Deuces Are Wild,” a reference to the band’s 1993 song, as well as a nod to the gambling mecca. The residency will kick off in April 2019, according to Aerosmith’s official announcement on Instagram.
When asked what the show will look like, Tyler said “We can’t give it away,” but guitarist Joe Perry dropped a few hints.
“We wanna bring a show in there that we really can’t do when we’re on the road, on a regular tour,” Perry said in the clip. “We wanna bring a show that still has Aerosmith and all the guts of Aerosmith but has a whole other element to it that we’ve never been able to do before.”
E! Online reports that Aerosmith will perform 18 shows in April, June and July 2019, and tickets for the general public will go on sale on Aug. 24, 2018, starting at $75.
The Park Theater, the venue that will host Aerosmith, has been able to secure some outstanding guests, including Lady Gaga, who also recently announced she will be doing a stint there later in 2018. I was able to see Stevie Wonder at the Park Theater earlier this month and it’s actually a surprisingly intimate venue for the big names it brings in, so Aerosmith fans should be in for a spectacular show.
So if you’ve ever wanted to catch this renowned band, you won’t have to “dream on” anymore — you just have to book a flight to Sin City.
