It’s the season of barbecues, popsicles and, apparently, lots of free food. Starbucks is offering the chance to win free drinks for up to 10 years, McDonald’s is giving away food for life, and now Perdue is getting on the action. They’re awarding three lucky carnivores free chicken for an entire year.
During the Something Big Is Coming Sweepstakes, now through Sept. 16, you have the chance to win a new prize each week, and it all leads up to a grand prize for three lucky winners — a year’s worth of free chicken and a pop-up party for 100 friends catered by the Perdue food truck.
All you have to do for a chance to win is head to Perdue’s Facebook or Instagram, find the code of the week, then enter it and fill out a form on their website. No purchase is necessary.
Weekly prizes include two different grills, a casserole dish, an Instant Pot, cast-iron fry pan and air fryer. While week one is already over, you still have time to enter the code for the next five weeks: week 2, Aug. 11-17; week 3, Aug. 18-24; week 4, Aug. 25-31; week 5, Sept. 1-7; and week 6, Sept. 8-16.
The three grand prize winners will receive their year of chicken via 208 coupons for $5 off Perdue products, which will be shipped in batches of 52 coupons on a quarterly basis. The estimated retail value of the coupons is $1,040. The 4-hour private party for up to 100 guests will include chicken, side dishes, soft drinks, seating and entertainment. The event must be scheduled before Nov. 1, 2019.
