Just months after welcoming their first child together, Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Aldean are ready to announce the sex of their second child!
The country music star is already the father of 15-year-old Keeley and 10-year-old Kendyl from a previous marriage, and he and Brittany welcomed their son in December. But now there’s going to be another baby in the mix!
Together, the couple staged a gender reveal for Aldean’s two daughters. They posted a video of the moment Keeley and Kendyl found out what their sibling was going to be in a cute video on Instagram. The dad captioned the video, “Whats [sic] it gonna be?” with a baseball emoji.
The mom-to-be said that she and her husband already knew what to expect, noting that the gender reveal was “just for the girls, to see their excitement.”

The girls waited with bats as powder-filled baseballs were tossed to them. When they hit the baseballs, pink powder exploded into the air, revealing that the couple is expecting a baby girl for round two.
This news caused Aldean’s daughters to squeal in excitement. It couldn’t have been a cuter moment for the family!
The couple’s initial announcement that they are expecting again came by way of soon-to-be big brother Memphis. Back in July, both Aldeans posted a photo of Memphis wearing a onesie that read “Big Brother”:
After Memphis’ birth, the couple opened up about how difficult it was for them to conceive, eventually turning to in vitro fertilization for help.
“The IVF was probably harder than the actual pregnancy, for me, because it was just such a roller coaster and so difficult,” Brittany told People magazine. “It’s such high highs and such low lows, and no one really knows that you’re going through it all so you have to just put on a game face and pretend that you’re not giving yourself shots in your stomach every day, all day.”
But even knowing what they were up against, they were excited to start IVF again to have a second child close in age to their son.
“After having our son, we knew we wanted to have two kids,” the country musician told People. “I have my two older daughters already, so after Memphis was born we knew we wanted to have another one pretty quick — to go ahead and knock it out and have one that was a little closer in age to him.”
And they sure hit it out of the park! Congratulations to the happy family on their baby girl!
