Mandy Moore And Her New Husband Sang A Beautiful Duet At Their Wedding Reception

When two musicians tie the knot, it’s a sure bet the music throughout their special day will be top-notch. Singer and actress Mandy Moore and musician Taylor Goldsmith married this weekend and schooled us all in wedding day music. In fact, the newlyweds performed a song together for their guests.

After saying “I do,” Moore and Goldsmith sang “The Things I Might Have Been” by Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge. Naturally, they made it their own. While only close friends and family caught the live performance, we can all enjoy a secondhand version online.

A Loving Duet

“Bachelor Nation” author Amy Kaufman shared a clip of Goldsmith playing guitar and Moore crooning into a microphone toward the end of their tune. The newlyweds hopped onstage during their reception at Fig House in Los Angeles.

Take a look at the sweet clip for yourself.

After gazing into each other’s eyes as they harmonized, the newlyweds finished the song with a smooch. Their guests responded with a round of applause. And the heartfelt duet was far from the only highlight of their “I dos.”

Best Dressed

Moore wore two show-stopping dresses on her big day — and neither one was white. As you can see from the clip, she chose a non-traditional bridal look for her reception, wearing a chic black cut-out gown that featured a bow on the back.

For her walk down the aisle, Moore wore a pastel pink tiered Rodarte gown. She accessorized with a pale pink veil, crystal-embellished pumps and small drop earrings. On Instagram, Moore shared a few snaps that show all the gorgeous pink details.

Pretty Palate

Pink played a starring role in the couple’s intimate backyard nuptials in Pasadena. There were pink flower arrangements, candles and other decor. Nature brought a little extra pink to the mix, too, as the ceremony occurred right at sunset. A select group of 50 close friends and family joined in the rosy celebration.

It looks — and sounds — like their married life is starting off on a great note.
