Takeoff shot, killed in Houston, Quavo NOT shot on Halloween, as the two were visiting friends and associates for the holidays. Rapper Takeoff has lost his life after suffering gunshot wounds from the incident.

From initial information that was given to us, Quavo linked up with a few of his friends on the Northside of Houston in the greater Fifth Ward. Hours later, the pair and their friends headed in town to South Houston for a private gathering to celebrate the birthday of Jas Prince, son of Mr. J. Prince.

However, after leaving the party, an altercation happened, which resulted in Takeoff losing his life. From initial tweets and information gathered below, you can look at some of the stories of what people there said happened.

We’re not investigators nor will we make any theories of what happened. That’s a job for the Houston Police Department to do, as well as going through security footage of exactly what happened. Check back throughout the day, because this post will be updated with commentary from those at the event.

UPDATE: NOW IT’S BEEN CONFIRMED THAT THE INCIDENT HAPPENED AT 810 BILLIARDS & BOWLING HOUSTON, A POPULAR BOWLING ALLEY IN TOWN. IN OFFICIAL REPORTS, TAKEOFF AND QUAVO WERE INDEED PLAYING DICE, WHEN AN ALTERCATION BROKE OUT. THERE, SOMEONE OPENED FIRE AND HIT TAKEOFF IN HIS TORSO. HOUSTON POLICE ALSO REVEALED TWO OTHERS WERE SHOT AND TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL IN PRIVATE VEHICLES, WHERE THEIR STATUS HAVEN’T BEEN REVEALED.
