Rami Malek and his girlfriend and Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton have been relatively private about their romance throughout award season. (The two were first reported to be dating in April 2018.) But tonight at the Oscars, they walked the red carpet together ahead of their film’s big night. Malek wore a black suit from Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello while Boynton wore a plum dress with black detailing to complement his ensemble. She accessorized with Cartier jewels and Sophia Webster shoes:
When Malek later won the Best Actor Oscar, he and Boynton passionately kissed after he was announced the winner. And he gave her a heartfelt shoutout in his speech. “Lucy Boynton, you’re the heart of this film,” he said. “You are beyond immensely talented. You have capture my heart. Thank you so much.”

The two have been doing events together throughout the month. They went to Vanity Fair and Genesis’s Oscars pre-party for their film two days ago, posing alongside each other inside the bash. Boynton wore a black dotted mini dress while Malek wore an all-black suit:
The two also walked the BAFTA Awards red carpet together two weeks ago. Boynton wore a two-toned dress from Christian Dior while Malek wore a matching black and white tuxedo with her:
The couple has been coordinating outfits through the award season and the promotional tour for their film.
At the pre-BAFTA dinner Chanel hosted, they matched in black and white ensembles again:
Boynton’s black and red dress at the BAFTA nominees party also complemented Malek’s black suit. They posed together at the carpet for that event as well:
They’ve also matched outfits during their casual outings, be it courtside at a basketball game in late January or in the streets of L.A., en route to Jimmy Kimmel Live early that month.
Bohemian Rhapsody has quite a few nomination tonight. Malek himself is nominated for Best Actor. Bohemian Rhapsody has ensemble nominations for Best Picture, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Film Editing.
