The couple recently got engaged
Following in the footsteps of other Hollywood couples, Priyanka Chopra wished Nick Jonas a happy birthday with a sweet post on Instagram.
She posted a picture of herself kissing Jonas on the cheek at the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys game that they attended to celebrate his birthday. She captioned the picture, “Happy birthday baby.” Jonas sports his new mustache in the picture. He replied to Chopra’s wish with heart emojis.
Fans had a number of reactions to the birthday wish. Many found Chopra’s use of the endearment ‘baby’ funny, given the age difference between the couple.
“After the Duke and Duchess, you both have to be my favorite couple of all time,” one fan wrote.
“Luckiest couple in the world,” another one wrote.
“So sweet. I wish you two the best of luck!! Love conquers all,” one fan wished.
“The mother celebrates the birthday of her little son,” one follower snarkily said.
“Aww you guys are cute together I swear,” another one said.
Another one wrote, “more like happy birthday son!”
Yet another fan wished, “HONESTLY SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I’ve always admired both of you and it’s so beautiful to see you both so happy together!!!!”
Chopra and Jonas met in May 2017 when they both walked the Met Gala red carpet together while wearing Ralph Lauren. The two were then also photographed at Rihanna’s after party at 1OAK, creating speculation that they were an item. At the time, Chopra completely denied that anything was happening between them, saying that they had only hung out because they were wearing the same designer.
The couple were then seen together again in May 2018 when they spent Memorial Day Weekend together on a yacht with friends. They were also seen at the Hollywood Bowl and a Dodger’s game together. They were then seen getting cozy during a dinner date, and regularly took to commenting cute things underneath each other’s pictures.
A couple of months after Chopra attended Jonas’ cousins wedding him and he traveled to India to meet her family, the couple revealed on Instagram that they had gotten engaged in a traditional Indian ceremony.
The couple have not yet revealed any details about when they will get married.
