Summer may be coming to an end, but one good thing about the changing seasons is back-to-school deals. From clothing and accessories to even food, retailers and restaurants usually offer some pretty good deals as August turns into September.
If you’ll be out doing some school shopping this week, or just looking for a quick lunch or dinner idea, Sonic Drive-In is offering up the perfect summer deal. On Thursday, Aug. 23, head to your local Sonic and score corn dogs for just 50 cents each! The offer is only good on Aug. 23, but is good for the entire day.
While the corn dog offer is not good with any other offers, if you download Sonic’s free app, you’ll score a free medium Sonic Slush, which you can use at a later date.
Speaking of slushies, you may remember something else Sonic gave us something this summer — the pickle juice slushie. The bright green, pickle-flavored slushie debuted in June along with three others — tiger’s blood, blue Hawaiian and Bahama mama.
If you’re not a fan of corn dogs, but will be dining with someone who is, Sonic has dozens of other menu items, like burgers, fries, tater tots and breakfast foods. They also offer a variety of other slushies, drinks and ice creams to make it really feel like summer.
