Sure, the “Toy Story” movies are made for children, but the beloved story of a boy and his toys is one that everyone can love — big and little kids alike.

That’s why it’s no surprise that adults who watch the movies often find themselves on an emotional rollercoaster. And it would seem actor Tom Hanks, who plays the voice of Woody, can relate.

In a recent interview on BBC’s “The Chris Evans Breakfast Show,” Hanks spoke about recording the ending to the upcoming film, revealing that he became very emotional when he realized the magnitude of the moment.

“The way you record ‘Toy Story,’ you’re in a room with the team that has created it,” he said. “When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you’re facing him so you can look right up and you can talk about it. But I didn’t want to see them and I wanted to pretend they couldn’t see me. When I realized what they were going for, I realized, ‘Oh, this is a moment in history.’”

It sounds like we better bring tissues with us for this movie experience! Do you plan to see “Toy Story 4” when it hits theaters on June 21, 2019?
