Wendy Williams Reveals She’s Been Living In A Sober House And Is Recovering From Addiction. Either you are calling me crazy or the bravest woman you know,
Williams stated on her talk show. After having a two-month hiatus from her show, Wendy Williams revealed Tuesday she’s been recovering from addiction-related problems and is residing in a sober house. For a while now, and even today and beyond, I had been living in a sober home, Williams said through tears on Tuesday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show. And you know, I have had a struggle with cocaine in my past and I never went into a place to get the treatment.
I do not know the way, except God, was sitting on my shoulder and I just stopped.”. The talk show host said she wished in all honesty with her viewers because her fans know her to be a very honest and an open person, so she decided to start up about her experience with addiction. According to Williams, the only other person in her life who had been mindful of the degree of her addiction was her husband, Kevin Hunter. There are individuals in your loved ones, it could be you, who’ve been struggling, and I would like you to know more of the story, she continued.

Therefore, this is my autobiographical history, and I am living it. I am telling you this”. Williams reported that every day she moves to pilates, attend sober meetings around town in the tristate area, then her 24-hour sober coach brings her back into the sober home she’s been living in with a couple of smelly boys who’ve become my loved ones.”. They hog the Television and see football, we speak and read and speak and read, then I get bored with them. Doors locked by 10 p.m. Lights from 10 p.m., Williams stated. I go to my area, and I stare at the ceiling and I fall asleep to wake up and return back here to see you.
So that’s my reality.”. I know, either you’re calling me crazy or the bravest woman you know, she said. I don’t care”. CNN’s Don Lemon was among people who tweeted in support of Williams, writing, I state the bravest woman I know. @WendyWilliams eventually speaks her facts about retrieval”.
