Ariana Grande Thank U, Next Apologizes To Pete Davidson For Still Loving Mac Miller On New Album

Ariana Grande has worn her heart on her sleeve ever since she made her way on to the pop scene. On her latest album, Thank U, Next, the singer gets vulnerable about her past relationships with Pete Davidson and Mac Miller.

Mac Miller and Ariana Grande dated for two years before calling it quits. She then started dating comedian Pete Davidson who she got engaged to.

Mac tragically passed away of an overdose which weighed so heavily on Ariana’s relationship with Pete that she ended the engagement altogether.

The 25-year-old already shouted out all of her exes on her break up anthem, Thank U. Next, but in her new track Ghostin’ — she digs a little deeper.

Some of the lyrics include: “I know you hear me when I cry, I try to hold it in at night, while your sleeping next to me/Look at the cards we’ve been dealt, if you were anybody else, probably wouldn’t last a day/I know that it breaks your heart when I cry again, over him, i know that it breaks your heart when I cry again, ‘stead of ghostin’ him.”

The song seems very literal. It deals with her feelings concerning her love with Mac Miller while being with Pete Davidson.

Before its release, Grande told fans what she had in mind while writing the emotional track: “[Ghostin’ is about] feeling badly for the person you’re with because you love somebody else. Feeling badly because he can tell he can’t compare…and how I should be ghosting him.”

As for Pete, he doesn’t seem to be too worried about his ex. The ‘SNL’ actor is in a romance with Kate Beckinsale.

According to new reports, Pete is just her type — young and funny.

Ariana even called the new couple ‘so cute’ when asked about it.
