#Rose Leslie Stopped Talking To Husband Kit Harington When He Ruined The End Of Game Of Thrones For Her

Since filming wrapped on the final season of Game of Thrones, those who know how the show ends have had to dodge questions from family, friends, and fans who are dying to know every detail. It hasn’t been easy, just ask star Kit Harington (Jon Snow). When his wife Rose Leslie asked him how the show ended, he told her and immediately regretted the decision.

“I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days,” Harington told KISS FM morning show hosts Tom Green and Daisy Maskell during a recent interview. “And she asked!”

Leslie, who played Jon Snow’s love interest Ygritte for three seasons, married Harington last July.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Harington first learned the final season spoilers when he attended the live table read with the rest of the cast in October 2017. Even though he had received the scripts from all six episodes days in advance, he wanted to wait and find out what happens with his friends.

Harington says that he isn’t happy or sad about the ending because it isn’t about that. He says that he is satisfied with how they ended the story, but he won’t be “really satisfied” until he sees it. Harington added that it is nice to walk around for a few months knowing something that no one else does.

The actor hopes that the final episodes will change TV and break boundaries like the first season did. “I know how it wraps up. I think it’s gonna be groundbreaking,” he said.

Throughout the past seven seasons, Game of Thrones has gone from a non-magical fantasy based in reality to a strange world filled with witches, dragons, zombies, and White Walkers. During that time, fans have fallen in love with the characters, and Harington says that is what it is all about for him – the people.

“It’s what the series is really about for me — it is people’s worlds just falling apart,” Harington said. “They were in quite a secure place at the start of all this, but by the time you get to where we are now, everyone’s lives have been blown apart.”

Harington explained that now that the show is over, it is a lot like finishing a book that you enjoyed. He says you’re not happy that it is over, but instead, there is grief that the story has finished, and he feels the exact same way after doing the show for nine years. No matter how it ends, Kit Harington “feels loss around it.”

The final season of Game of Thrones premieres April 14th on HBO.
