Congrats, Carrie! Her speech to her husband was so sweet.
Carrie Underwood was joined by celebrities and loved ones yesterday when she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. The country singer was supported on Thursday by celebrity friends Brad Paisley and Simon Cowell, as well as her husband, Mike Fisher, and 3-year-old son, Isaiah, in celebration of her big moment.
The unveiling of the Walk of Fame star marked Underwood’s 13th year in the music business, which includes her fourth-season win on “American Idol” in 2005 that launched her career, as well as seven Grammys, six Country Music Awards and 14 Academy of Country Music awards.

Underwood became tearful when the star was revealed, saying, “How is this my life? How does a girl from Checotah, Oklahoma, end up with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? I’ll tell you how — belief. I’ve been so blessed in my life to have … so many people who believed in me.”

It’s shaping up to be an exciting few months for the singer, who announced last monthin an Instagram video that she is pregnant with her second child. At the time, Underwood also released the details of her upcoming Cry Pretty Tour 360, which kicks off in May 2019.
“You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well … yay!” she said in the video, as the camera zoomed out to reveal balloons spelling “BABY” floating over her head.
Underwood’s love for her family was also apparent during her speech on Thursday as she accepted her spot on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“I met an incredible man, Mike, who thinks I’m so much better than I actually am,” she said. “Thank you for believing in me as a human, as a wife, as a mom, and supporting me through all of this. He believes in me and we had another little man who believes in me, too. Isaiah Michael, I love you so much. You’re the best thing we ever did. I love you and I believe you.”

The happy occasion comes soon after a recent CBS News interview in which Underwood revealed the many struggles she endured in her efforts to become pregnant a second time.
Congratulations, Carrie Underwood, on this well-deserved recognition!
