Mother, 36, Pregnant With TRIPLETS Shares Exceptional Week-By-Week Pictures Of Her Expanding Baby Bump

A mom pregnant with triplets is documenting her growing baby bump in her extraordinary week-by-week pictures.

Maria is a 36-year-old mother-of-one from Copenhagen, Denmark, and she has amazed more than 50k followers on Instagram when she decided to share her candid photos, revealing what’s it like to be expecting triplets. Her son Mikael is two-years-old at the moment, and together with her husband Anders, 40, they are set to welcome two daughters and another son later this month.

Maria, originally from Norway, shared her amazing week-to-week photo series on the Instagram account triplets_of_copenhagen , and the series shows just how quickly her baby bump expanded. She admits that it felt ‘strange’ that her large belly could go that much outwards without the support and ‘without falling down’.

“What a journey this has been! From the huge shock of learning, there were three, to people’s reactions, the numerous scannings/checks, and all the preparations and planning for this life-changing event. Nothing like the ordinary.

‘I’m glad we took these pictures because this collage really shows the massive growth. It’s strange to have ended up with such a big belly and it’s even stranger that it can stand out like that without falling down.” – she writes.

Maria and Anders got married earlier this year, and they wanted to give Mikael a baby brother or sister. However, they were shocked to discover that they had conceived triplets without fertility treatment. The odds of conceiving triplets without treatment are roughly 1 in 4,400.

She reveals that they had to swap their trendy hybrid SUV for a mini-bus to fit their growing family, and they have been stocking up dozens of baby outfits.

The honest posts about the highs and lows of pregnancy have won Maria thousands of followers, and most of them respond with supportive messages. For example, this is what one user commented on her most recent post:

‘Wishing you quiet weeks and good luck with your babies.’

‘This is awesome! God bless.’
