Your Favorite Halloween Candy Will Now Have Glow-in-the-Dark Wrappers

You’ll have the spookiest candy on your block!

It may still be August, but if you’re anything like me, it’s never too soon to start thinking about Halloween. From costumes and decorations to what candy you’ll be handing out to the ghosts and goblins in your neighborhood, there’s a lot to think about when it comes to the spookiest time of the year.

Well, you can cross “choosing the candy” off your list, because Reese’s, Kit Kat and Hershey’s have outdone themselves this year. Already making most kids’ trick-or-treating wish lists, the three chocolate treats are getting a makeover for the season — or rather, their wrappers are!

Hitting stores nationwide in time for Halloween, snack-sized Reese’s, Kit Kat and Hershey’s bars will now come with limited edition glow-in-the-dark wrappers in 9.35-ounce packages of the snack-sized treats (around $2.99 each).

When passing out the candy to trick-or-treaters, just switch out your porch light with a black light bulb and your candy dish will radiate with the sweet glow of chocolate. Not only will it help light up the night if you’re a bit spooked, but your candy bowl will be the most boo-tiful one on the block!

If you’re having a Halloween party before the big day, just get some blacklights for the candy bowl to sit under. You could also add some other neon decor to make the party really glow!

Other treasured Halloween candies are also getting a makeover: Reese’s, Kit Kat miniatures and Hershey Kisses are also getting “spooky foils.” You can also look forward to treats like snack-sized Dark Chocolate Kit Kats, Twizzlers Pull’n’Peel Orange and Black Cherry, and a Halloween Assortment Pumpkin Bowl filled with Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Miniatures, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, White Kit Kat Miniatures, Whoppers and Jolly Ranchers.
