Wells gave Sarah the most sentimental gift on the first anniversary of their first kiss!
Sarah Hyland has revealed the sweet present Wells Adams gave her when the couple celebrated their one year anniversary.
The Modern Family actress celebrated the first anniversary of her first kiss with boyfriend Wells Adams on Sunday. The couple met online and went public with their relationship on October when they revealed their matching Stranger Things costumes on social media. They moved in together earlier this summer, also uniting their dogs Carl and Boo.
At the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Hyland revealed Adams’ sentimental gift for her for their anniversary.
She told E!, “I take a lot of Polaroids all the time. He took all the Polaroids I take and put them in his typewriter and wrote things on them. Then he bought a leather-bound journal that you can put pictures in…He’s amazing.” She added that her and Adams were “such a hipster f**king couple” due to their leather notebooks and Polaroids.
The actress wrote on Instagram on the day of her anniversary:
“1 year ago today, you asked to hold my purse while I was dancing. In that moment you took my heart. You then gave me my last first kiss. And in that moment you took my breath away. I love you to Pluto and back @wellsadams. YES PLUTO IS A PLANET. IT WILL ALWAYS BE.”
Adams wrote on his own Instagram, “I kissed this beautiful woman for the 1st time a year ago today. Best year of my life. I love you to Pluto and back @sarahhyland.”
During her interview, Hyland also talked about the fact that Modern Family will be killing off a significant character in the upcoming season, but all she said was, “People will be sad. It’s a death.”
Adams attended the Music Festival with Hyland in Vegas, and they walked the red carpet together.
