Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s marriage has thrown Selena Gomez “for a loop” and she is having a tough time adjusting

Selena Gomez “can’t believe” that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin silently got married last month after their whirlwind engagement.
At the start of 2018, Justin had reunited with Gomez and the two seemed happy and in love. They quickly split up, however, and Bieber was then seen with his old flame Hailey Baldwin.
In just one month, Bieber had proposed to Baldwin and later news suggested that the couple got married last month while obtaining their marriage license.
A few days after news of the marriage leaked, Gomez announced that she was taking a break from social media again, writing:
“Update: taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi.”
A source told Hollywood Reporter, “Selena has known all along Justin got married and she can’t believe it. It really has been a tough adjustment for her and it is still hard to wrap her head around. It’s really throwing her for a loop and she can’t believe that it is a real thing. It was just so unexpected.”
Back when Baldwin and Bieber got engaged, Gomez was reported to be completely unbothered. A source told Us Magazine, “Selena doesn’t care. She’s over Justin and the last time they broke up allowed her to get over him fully.”
The source added, “Anytime he has done this in the past, Selena doesn’t even see stories about him in the media. Her team makes sure she is protected from it, so it’s a waste of time on Justin’s end if that’s his goal. No one in her circle speaks about him when they are on the outs and she keeps her circle and team very small.”
Bieber and Baldwin have not yet commented on rumors of their marriage.
