Anna Kendrick reveals she once casually insulted former President Obama to his face
The actress met the former President in 2012
Anna Kendrick recently revealed that she once insulted former President Barack Obama to his face, and got out of the situation alive!

Kendrick talked about the 2012 incident during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She was asked about the time she made President Barack Obama double over while laughing and said, “Oh, me and Barack. I’m just making him laugh.”

In 2012, Kendrick received an invitation from the former President asking if she wanted to meet him at an event in Los Angeles. She was the first one to arrive, and was listening to him talking about the economy.
During his speech, President Obama pointed out Kendrick to the crowd and said, “Actually, Anna was in one of my favorite movies, Up In the Air, which talked about the economy and the recession.”
When she met the President later on, he said to her, “I hope I didn’t embarrass you earlier,” to which she replied, “Yeah, you’re such an a**hole.”

To further her own embarrassment in that situation, when President Obama pointed out that both Kendrick and a Secret Service agent at the event were from Maine, she quipped, “Yeah, and I was the first one to arrive, too.”
The President jokingly said, “Oh, are people from Maine really punctual?” and Kendrick replied, “Yeah, you didn’t know that? You’re the president!” Kendrick’s consistent blows had the President doubling over in laughter.

Kendrick stars with Blake Lively in A Simple Favor, which is out in theaters now.
