Mother Illustrates Comics About How 2-Year-Olds Can Actually Hurt You

Whether you are a parent or not, you would know that having a child has its blessing but curses too. From their first baby steps to changing diapers, the process of raising a child is one hell of a rollercoaster that leaves the parents tired and sobbing (from happiness too).

The genius artist from Seattle, Weng Chen, author of the ‘The Adventures of Messy Cow’ comics, has given us yet another series now concentrating on the many dangers that parents frequently face.

Weng Chen, in the interview about what inspired her into creating these comics, is saying:

“I’ve done a lot of comics when I was younger but stopped for a long time. One side effect of having children is that it gives you the real sense of mortality. When my second child turned two, I had the urge to start again because if I didn’t, I might never achieve my dream.”

In her latest series called “How a two-year-old can hurt you”, she explores the different ways that a child can possibly hurt their parents in a nonintentional and funny way.

The mother of two is telling how the whole process of documenting her children growing up was pretty fun and enjoyable. Weng Chen also mentions that she was getting a big feedback from parents all around the world who have read her comics and shared their similar experiences with their children.
